Description

Reported in SF [Link Removed]

On Meta Quest headsets, when Lumen is enabled for VR, setting the Effects Quality to High can cause visual artifacts to appear in reflections in the right eye of the headset.

Reported on a Meta Quest 2 and 3 headset, and tested and confirmed on a 3 headset.

Setting the Effects Quality to Ultra eliminates any artifacting.

Steps to Reproduce

Use a Meta Quest headset (Tested with 3 but reported to occur with the 2)

  1. Open Twinmotion
  2. Go to Quality settings
    1. Set the VR Effects Quality to High
    2. Enable Lumen in VR
  3. Set rendering mode for the scene to Lumen
  4. Enter VR mode
  5. Look at a reflective surface, such as the sphere in the starter scene

Result: Visual artifacts can appear for the reflection in the right eye that do not appear in the left eye

Workaround
Set Effects Quality to Ultra. If performance is too low for a smooth experience, enable VR Dynamic Quality and lower other Quality settings other than Effects. If performance is still too low, disable Lumen in VR
