When setting up a BP via the scene with the new method of adding components and converting to a BP the child component that is set to simulate physics enabled will be offset from its original position. Disabling the set simulate physics to true will only move it the once, until the editor has PIE or simulate. If the option is then enabled it will off set again.
This only appears to affect BPs created with the new method via the details panel and not any that are created by creating a new BP via the content browser.
Video with demonstration attached.
1. Open UE4
2. Drag any object into the scene
3. Use details panel to convert to BP
4. Duplicate/add static mesh in the detail panel view
5. Select the child component
6. Set to simulate Phyiscs
7. Child object should be offset now
