It seems that GPU usage in UE5 has dramatically increased in comparison to 4.26. A simple First Person Template with a Landscape created with default settings and a few hills sculpted onto it, causes the GPU usage to climb to the 90-99% range in UE5. In 4.26, a similar scene has the GPU usage at around 40-50%.
This was tested with an Nvidia RTX 2080 Super. I would expect the GPU usage to increase, considering that the system requirements have increased, but maxing out the GPU of a relatively high end graphics card in such a simple scene seems like it might be unintended.
RESULT:
The GPU usage is in the high 90s
EXPECTED:
GPU usage wouldn't be so dramatic increased in comparison to 4.26
