Description

Once UE is launched and console is accessed, typing down 'Debug Crash' will close the engine and open the Crash Reporter window. 'Debug Crash' is not a recognized command from the list.

  • REGRESION: No. Bug can also be reproduced on UE 4.27
  • WORKAROUNDS: No workarounds.
Steps to Reproduce
  1. From Epic Games Launcher, launch any version of Unreal Engine - 5.0 Preview and 4.27.2 were used for this.
  2. Create or Open any project available.
  3. Press the tilde '~' key on the upper left side of the keyboard, to open console
    # In the window that shows enter: 'Debug Crash
    ' and press Enter.

 

RESULT: Engine crashes and closes to display the Crash Reporter Window.
