Timers set to a low time setting, but that are not set lower than tick, have a significant impact on FPS as compared to tick when updated a large number of objects at the same time.
1. Download and unzip project at attached link:

Note: Project may get stuck at 95%. It will eventually load it simply takes an exorbitant amount of time to do so.
2. Open project
3. Press PIE
4. Press ~, type stat fps, press enter
5. Note FPS
6. Stop PIE and open tree bp
7. Disconnect timer, connect Tick
8. Compile, save, close
9. Press PIE, note FPS
