This is the same error as in
UE-14948. Discovered by a user on AnswerHub, I was able to reproduce this error in today's 4.8 branch, CL 2575437
Attached to his thread is the UFE setup that he used and with which I was able to repro this.
Update (John M.): I'm also able to repro this in a binary build simply using WindowsNoEditor in step 5 (no need to try and connect to a server). I also used a Blueprint project to repro (Advanced vehicle game)
1. Open UE4Editor.exe
2. Create a new First Person BP project
3. Open UnrealFrontend
4. Create a new Custom Launch Profile
5. Set the Custom Launch Profile settings to (see user's screenshot for reference)
6. Launch the Custom Launch Profile
7. Navigate to <ProjectName>/Saved/StagedBuilds/WindowsNoEditor and double click project .exe to start.
