Description

When you render out a movie from a Matinee, the painted Vertex Colors on a Blueprint does not render, the meshes in the Blueprint revert to imported vertex color.

Also Reproduced in 4.8.0 and Main Promotable-CL-2581018

Steps to Reproduce

Quick Repro open the VertexColorMatinee Project attached above

  1. Create a new Blank Project with No Starter Content
  2. Import the attached Cube_PaintedVerts.fbx
  3. Create a New Actor Blueprint
  4. In the new Actor Blueprint, add the Cube_Painted Mesh
  5. Place the new BP in the level
  6. Vertex Paint the BP white in the level
  7. Create a new Unlit Material containing only vertex color in Emissive Color
  8. Assign the new Material to the imported Mesh
  9. Create a Matinee with a camera facing the Blueprint in the level
  10. Create a movie from the Matinee

RESULTS: In Editor Vertex Color painting is not rendered in Movie

EXPECTED: In Editor Vertex Color painting is rendered in Movie
