I've been experiencing consistent GPU crashes when tying to edit landscapes since updating to UE5.1.
It seems to be exclusively an issue with DirectX 12 (SM5 & SM6). I have no problems when switching over to DirectX 11 or Vulkan.
My GPU is an AMD RX 580 with 8GB of memory. My computer is running Windows 10 with the latest AMD drivers (31.0.12029.7019).
Running the editor with '-d3ddebug' I'm seeing the following error in the log:
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET
0x887A0007
The device failed due to a badly formed command. This is a run-time issue; The application should destroy and recreate the device.
I'm attaching the log as well as the crash dump files.
