Description

When a Scene Capture Actor is updating the content via an Update Content Node, the Static meshes in the world will flicker or pulse according to the update timer for the Scene Capture Actor. This only occurs in Standalone Game, Launched or Packed Games

Steps to Reproduce

Alternative Repro: Open attached Project, Play in Standalone Game, Same Results listed below.

  1. Open QAGame Editor
  2. Add a Scene Capture 2D to the map at (0,0,750)
  3. Assign a 2048x2048 Render Texture to the Scene Capture
  4. In the Level Blueprint, Call a Reference to the Scene Capture Actor
  5. From the reference, call an Update Content Node
  6. Attach a Custom Event called Update to the Update Content Node
  7. From Event Begin Play, Set a Timer to loop every 1 second for Function Name Update.
  8. Play in Standalone Game

RESULTS: Flickering as scene in the attached GIF

EXPECTED: NO Flickering
