In a material function, after adding a scene depth node and applying it to the Output Result node a warning pops up. This warning is Only transparent or postprocess materials can read from scene depth. However, if you applied this function to a translucent material then the warning goes away. The problem occurs when there isn't a check box or ability to say, apply to translucent material so this warning goes away. Alternatively if this is applied to an opaque material or non translucent material then the material will break.
