This was reported by a UDN customer on one instance but the issue may affect more than that.

Description

Note that the issue does not happen if the two materials have different colors.

Note also that the issue happens if one of the meshes to merge has 2 sections with the same material assigned

Steps to Reproduce

Unzip attached file at the root of the content folder of a project

Load level UDN00610707_Map

Select the 3 static mesh actors in the World outliner

Execute Actor -> Merge Actors(3) -> Merge

Open resulting mesh in the static mesh editor

Expected result: The static mesh should have two sections with two materials, red and green

Actual result: The static mesh has only one section and one of the cube does not have a material applied to it
