When the Cable component is set to specific rotations it will no longer render the cable actor that is attached to a mesh.
Image is attached with multiple setups.
Workaround to get it to render:
1. Open UE4
2. Place a Static mesh in the Scene
3. Place a Cable Actor in the scene
4. Set the location to be the same as the Static Mesh and raise it above the SM
5. Select the Cable Actor and use the Attach End to in the Details Panel and select the SM
Results: At this point you should have a cable actor above your static mesh that is showing it is connected. If you move the cable actor or the SM you will see the cable appear. If it's directly vertical it will twist on itself and disappear. This also will not render in the wireframe mode, so something is causing it to be removed.
Expected: The cable component will be rendered.
