Description

Using the profile GPU in New Editor Window and VR preview does not focus on profiler.

It should be noted that it is unsure whether or not the GPU Profiler is intended to be used in conjunction with the Occulus, as the targeted framerate for the Occulus is split between each eye, and the total FPS needs to be higher. It was suggested to the user to run the game in Standalone when using the GPU profiler, as this is the suggested workflow. The issue of losing focus does not occur when running in Standalone, and only when used with the VR Preview or New Editor Window.

I was not sure what component to use for this so I chose editor.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open new third person project
  2. Choose to play in New Editor Window
  3. In the command line type profile GPU

Expected : Focus profile GPU window
Result : Profile comes into focus and window is minimized

  1. Open a New Third Person project
  2. Choose to play in VR Preview
  3. Enter profile GPU in the console command line

Expected : GPU profiler in view within oculus device
Result : Doesn't focus on the profiler and not viewable in the oculus view
