In /Game/ABPLinkingShowcase/Blueprints/Pawn_ABPLinkingCharacter:
The character mesh’s root location is lower than the capsule’s lowest point. This is what causes the issue.
Based on the event graph, when Tab is pressed, the character should move towards its forward direction (based on the Warp Target location), with zero vertical movement.
Licensee’s fix included in the ticket.
1. Download the Licensee’s test project and open (see addl info URL)
2. The editor should start with the LinkingShowcase map.
3. Start PIE and press Tab to play the root motion montage. This is a debug logic in /Game/ABPLinkingShowcase/Blueprints/Pawn_ABPLinkingCharacter.
4. The character will move up vertically into the air.
