Description

If you have Render All Cameras enabled in MRQ and are rendering a multilayer exr from a sequence that has multiple cameras edited in the camera cuts track the frames where a camera is not active in the track will output black. If you render single channel exr, png, or jpgs all frames render as expected. If you do not have multiple cameras cut into the camera cuts track but have them bound in the sequence all cameras render as expected in a multichannel exr. So it seems the issue is only when they are edited into the cuts track and only in a multilayer exr.

Steps to Reproduce
  • Create or open a level sequence
  • Add 3 cameras to the sequence
  • In the camera cuts track make sure all 3 cameras are added for any length of time. Just be sure you can see 3 separate cuts.
  • Open MRQ and add the sequence
  • Add the Cameras submenu in MRQ and enable Render All Cameras
  • Disable JPG and enable EXR output
  • Render
  • If you favorite EXR viewing software view all the camera layers output. I just make a contact sheet in nuke of all the layers.
  • See that the layers for each camera will only properly render when that camera was active in the cuts track. The rest of the time the layer will be black.
