Description

When you generate a LOD Mesh for a Landscape Level in the Level Browser, the resulting Mesh does not take into account Landscape Components Forced LOD settings.

It appears that no matter what the Landscape component settings are, the resulting mesh will only yield the LOD set in the settings with no consideration for the components in the landscape.

Steps to Reproduce

*Quick Repro - Open Attached Project*

  1. Create a Blank Project with no starter content
  2. Delete the default platform from the map
  3. Save the Default Level as Main_Test
  4. Open the Level Browser
  5. Add a New Level
  6. Create a Landscape with default settings
  7. In the level viewport, Sculpt a Mountain in the center of your landscape that is detailed enough to lose its profile when moving back to extreme distances
  8. Select the Landscape Components that if not LOD'd the mountain would keep its shape
  9. In the Landscapes Details panel, set the Forced LODs to 0
  10. Save the Landscape Level
  11. Back in the Level Browser, select the Level Details Button
  12. In the Level Details LOD Setting, select 1 LOD
  13. In LOD1, check the Landscape Export LOD true with a value of 4
  14. Generate

RESULTS: Generated Mesh ignores the Forced LOD0 settings of certain Landscape components

EXPECTED: Generated Mesh respects Forced LOD settings on Landscape.
