Context:
Orthographic views are used to have a 2D view of a 3D object providing precise control over object placement and alignment. This can be used for projects like isometric games and architectural visualization projects.
Problem:
The problem is that static meshes viewed in the static mesh editor in orthographic side view are becoming bright white after a couple of seconds when project quality preset is maximum. The mesh returns to its original state after changing the view back to perspective.
1.) Create a ThirdPersonTemplate project with quality set to maximum
2.) Open a static mesh asset in static mesh editor; I.e. Content Drawer > Search "SM_Cube"
3.) Swap view to Orthographic Right; Click on "Perspective" near the top of the viewport > Right
or on the keyboard press Alt + Shift + K
Observe: The mesh turning white after a couple of seconds
Expected: The mesh remains the same
