Steps to Reproduce

Using HTC Vive Pre - SteamVR 1463781942

  1. Add in BaseEngine.ini
    [/Script/Engine.PhysicsSettings]
    bSubstepping=True

OR enable through editor

  1. Project Settings -> Physics ->Framerate -> Enable Substepping
  2. Restart Editor
  1. Enable VREditor, Editor Preferences -> Experimental -> VR -> Enable VR Editing
  2. Press "VR" to start VREditor

Results: Traces from the motion controller to VREditor's UI no longer generate hit event. See gif attached
