Description

Wilcard pins added via drag and drop retain the type of the source even after breaking the link. This will not reproduce if the output wildcard pin is created through the details panel.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create a new Blueprint based on Actor
  2. Open the blueprint and add a Macro
  3. In the details panel add a Wildcard pin input
  4. From the Wildcard pin input drag to the output node to create a Wildcard output pin
  5. From the input Wildcard pin create a GetDisplayName node
  6. Connect the return string value to the Output Wildcard pin
  7. In the event graph place a call the macro
  8. Connect the input parameter to a "reference to self" node

Result: The Output Wildcard pin changed to the type of the Self reference

Expected: The Output pin should remain a Wildcard pin
