This issue has been closed as 'Won't Fix' due to an extended period of time without updates. If this issue is important to you please let us know by posting on the AnswerHub or UDN, and Epic will re-open the ticket for further review.
Renaming the meshes folder to include  characters causes the static meshes to lose their mesh upon being duplicated.
Result: The static mesh actor is duplicated, but the mesh is no longer set.
Expected: The mesh would be duplicated as it is when the folder does not contain the  characters.
