Unable to save Alembic asset with materials after importing more than once

REPRO STEPS:

1. Load QAGame in the editor
2. Click Import from the Content Browser
3. Navigate to \Engine\Content\NotForLicensees\QA\Import_Test_Assets\AlembicAssets and select MaterialImportTest.abc, then click Open
4. Scroll down and check Create Materials
5. Click Import
6. Click Import from the Content Browser again
7. Navigate to \Engine\Content\NotForLicensees\QA\Import_Test_Assets\AlembicAssets and select MaterialImportTest.abc, then click Open
8. Click Yes
9. Click Import
10. Right-click MaterialImportTest in the Content Browser
11. Click Save

RESULT:
User receives the following message:

Can't save ../../../QAGame/Saved/Autosaves/Game/MaterialImportTest_Auto1.uasset: Graph is linked to private object(s) in an external package.
External Object(s):
Prime_HelixSG
/Engine/Transient
Prime_HelixSG1
Prime_HelixSG2
  
Try to find the chain of references to that object (may take some time)?
