Description

If the breadcrumb events have no metadata but the metadata spec contains a format name, the format name is not added to the display name and the user cannot see it.

GPU Profiler 2.0. The trace they sent over though has the wrong names for GPU Passes. Instead of "BasePass", "ShadowDepths" etc. it's always "CanvasFlush". If  r.rhisetgpucaptureoptions 1 then you see material draw events and RDG events with all the proper metadata, but the pass names are still incorrect.

ProfileGPU and the GPU capture is showing me the correct pass names in the log file.

Reviewing the events output from ExecOnAnalysisCompleteCmd="TimingInsights.ExportTimers" on the trace, the GPU events aren't in there. They do show up on a valid GPUProfiler2.0 trace, though.

Digging into the format of the breadcrumb events:

EVENT[1]GpuProfiler.EventBreadcrumbSpec:SpecId=17StaticName="CanvasFlush"NameFormat="Nanite::Streaming"FieldNames=[]
EVENT[1]GpuProfiler.EventBreadcrumbSpec:SpecId=18StaticName="CanvasFlush"NameFormat="VisibilityCommands"FieldNames=[]
EVENT[1]GpuProfiler.EventBreadcrumbSpec:SpecId=19StaticName="CanvasFlush"NameFormat="HairGuideInterpolation"FieldNames=[]
EVENT[1]GpuProfiler.EventBreadcrumbSpec:SpecId=20StaticName="CanvasFlush"NameFormat="FXSystemPreRender"FieldNames=[]
