Adding the after parameter to a node, does not add a dependency like requires does. The documentation indicates that it would be triggered after another node. This was interpretated by the licensee as runs regardless if the prior tasks succeeds or fails, where requires would not trigger if a previous task failed.
If this is intended then this would be a feature request for a node that can be triggered after another node finishes, regardless of state,
Add after to a task.
Using build graph to trigger a target that has an after node.
Notice the dependency.
