After updating Binary to the latest CL to bypass the HTML5 issues of 3149070, I ran into an HTML5 issue. Launching onto HTML5 Firefox opens a new window with the message 'uncaught exception: out of memory'.

The output log does not display any errors or warnings, and the Running toast remains up as long as the new window does.

Steps to Reproduce


  1. Open a First Person BP project.
  2. Click the dropdown beside launch and select Firefox.
  3. Launch on to HTML5.

Expected Result: The game will launch into a window hosted in HTML5 free of issues.

Result: The game fails to launch into a window hosted in HTML5 and the user is instead given an 'uncaught exception' message.
