If you attempt to merge a static mesh that was a converted skeletal mesh the resulting asset is corrupted. You have to use the new convert skeletal mesh to static mesh feature.

You will find this error in the output log: LogMeshUtilities:Error: Raw mesh is corrupt for LOD0.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open attached project
  2. Drag both static mesh actors found in the content browser into scene
  3. Merge them using the Merge Actors tool

The merged asset is corrupted

The static meshes are merged properly
