When using local in an emitter GPU sprites won't honor this setting with the lock axis module.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open attached project
  2. Rotate particle system and note that it matches local orientation
  3. Change the emitter to a gpu particle type
  4. Rotate the particle system in the scene
