• Open M_TableRound, move a node. Save the Material
  • Reopening the project seems to fix the issue

Replacing the reference of the deleted table texture is rendering default material.

Note The redirector for the T_TableRound_M asset shows the connection to T_Wood_Pine_D. Also, Deleting the texture that replaced the first texture, and replacing it with a 3rd texture works.

This is a Regression from 4.14.2

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open a project with starter content
  2. locate T_TableRound_M (Starter Content > Textures) and press delete
  3. In the deletion window, opt to replace the texture with another texture via the drop down (T_Wood_Pine_D would work)
  4. Select Replace References
  5. Click OK
  6. Save Assets

Result: The material M_TableRound is replaced with the wood texture, but is not reflected on the table in the viewport.

Expected Result: The table is updated with the texture
