Command Alt Drag Produces Erratic Results on Mac

Holding down Command + Alt + Drag to select an area in the Mac OSX environment will often result in erratic behavior from the cursor, causing the cursor to move exponentially beyond the area that the user is dragging to select.

Unable to reproduce in Windows.

Regression: No

1. On a Mac open any project with Starter Content
2. Use Command + Alt + Drag to initiate the select area tool
3. With all of the above held down, rapidly drag mouse in tight concentric circles in the Viewport
   RESULT: The cursor will begin to move further and further from the concentric circle and appear to become detached from the selection area rectangle.
   EXPECTED: The selection area to follow the cursor in real time and the cursor to remain aligned with the movement of the mouse.
