When you disable the import option for Remove Degenerates the checkbox under the materials for "Enable Collision" will be disabled. This only matters if per-poly collision is being used for the mesh, but there is inconsistency since this is enabled by default if Remove Degenerates is left enabled.
1. Import any Static Mesh
2. In the Import Options disable "Remove Degenerates", all other options left as default.
3. Click Import.
4. Open the Static Mesh Editor with this asset.
5. Take note of the Enable Collision option under the material.
Result: Enable Collision is disabled after import for this material.
