Description

If the editor is launched and PIE is started with no controllers attached, attached two controllers with allow Player1 to receive input from the first controller but Player2 does not receive input from the second controller.

Note:
This also occurs with packaged builds on console.

Workaround:

  1. Exiting/restaring PIE after controllers are connected provides input for Player2
  2. Does not occur if at least one controller is attached before beginning PIE.

Regression:
No, same behavior exists in 4.13.2

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open UE4 Editor (Third Person Template) with no controllers connected to machine
  2. Setup level blueprint as shown in attached screenshot
  3. PIE
  4. Connect two XBox360 controllers

Result:
Player1 is able to move/look with the thumbsticks but Player2 does not receive any input from the controller

Expected:
Both players receive input after controllers are connected.
