UMG supports sprite as an image, but using this as source do not correctly cut sprite's region which limits border textures to be separated textures.
If the Image has a material, size do not match render size.

1) Create a sprite, Widget
2) Change size of source region
3) Drag and drop from contents folder to umg designer tab
4) Change 'Draw as' to Border at detail tab.
5) Notice the border area is not limited to sprite's area
