Description

Skeletal meshes display Vertex Paint in RGB Color View Mode without being selected.

This is inconsistent with Static Meshes, which must be selected prior to showing their Vertex Paint.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Add a Skeletal Mesh to the scene
    • HeroTPP was used in testing
  2. Enter Paint Mode
  3. Within the Modes Panel, change Color View Mode to RGB

Result:
HeroTPP is filled with white without being selected

Expected Result:
HeroTPP remains unchanged until after the user selects it while RGB Color View Mode is active
