I was not able to repro this with template projects in //UE4/Release-4.17. I was not able to repro the lack of collision to the same static mesh I shot at if I tried to run into it. That is why I mentioned the projectile collision specifically in the summary.

This is a regression going from //UE4/Release-4.16 to //UE4/Release-4.17 as this was working in 4.16. Additionally, QAGame and its content is utilized in a variety of our engine's test suite and this would block many of those tests.

Steps to Reproduce


  1. Open QAGame into the project editor.
  2. In the Modes pane, drag and drop a Basic Cube into the Viewport
  3. PIE - Viewport and shoot the cube.
  4. Run into the cube

Projectiles pass through anything you shoot. Trying to use the physics gun doesn't interact with anything.

Projectiles collide with objects they hit, and the physics gun can pick up objects.
