App crashes when adding more than 4 splash screens with Gear VR

Description

App appears to crash when adding more than 4 splash screens when using Gear VR.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Download the attached project
  2. Open the project
  3. Launch onto Gear VR ready device (tested on Note 4)
  4. Wait 5 seconds

Result: The app closes after the splash screen is added 5 times
Expected: The splash screen would be added 5 times
