When setting a SceneCapture with Capture Every Frame set to False, the capture will appear bright green in Packaged project. It captures as expected in editor/ PIE, and also works fine if Capture Every Frame is set to True. This issue occurs in 4.17 and 4.18.

I can work around it by having a delay in my game mode and then force re-capturing all scene captures, that works, but is obviously not intended and pretty hacky... so figured this should really be reported properly.

To reproduce, I suppose all you have to do is place a scene capture (I'm using a scene capture cube), use it in a material, then put it in a map and package the project (I use shipping config). Im just using the launcher version of 4.18.1.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open new default scene
  2. Place SceneCaptureCube, set Capture Every Frame = False
  3. Create Render Target texture and Material
  4. Apply to mesh so you can observe scene capture
  5. Package project
  6. Open Packaged project
    Result: Capture appears bright green
