Description

When attempting to use the "All Desktop" packaging functionality, in the editor, the user is redirected to the main splash page for UE Documentation: https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-us/

I do believe the Desktop (Win+Mac+Linux) functionality is not currently supported. I will log a JIRA separately for this.

However, can we redirect the user to a page that is relational to the issue they are seeing?

This was pointed out by a community member in the Unreal Engine 4 Developers Community FB Group. See: [Link Removed]

Steps to Reproduce
  1. This requires a source editor (either Perforce or Github)
  2. Create new Basic Code Project
  3. Navigate to:
    • File > Package > Desktop (Win+Mac+Linux)

Result:

  • The following log messages are printed in the output log:
    • LogUObjectGlobals: Warning: Failed to find object 'Blueprint None.'
    • LogWindows: LaunchURL [Link Removed]
  • A browser window/tab is opened to the main splash page of UE Docs
