Steps to Reproduce
  • Import Staticmesh A with one material ID into UE4 through FBX
  • Assign two materials to A in DCC and export and overwirte A (Here has a B, you can just rename it and overwrite A)
  • Reimport A through contact menu right click on it in Content browser

Expected outcome: It should create a new added material in content browser and assign to A properly

Result: No new material generated, and a default WorldGridMaterial was assign to the second material slot of the mesh
