Description

The Actor Sequencer Timeline appears to not be able to correctly recognize the variables manipulated within the viewport. Thus, when attempting to add a keyframe after moving a component, within the viewport, the add keyframe button does not correctly reflect the transform.

This was reported and tested in 4.20 (CL-4212847). This issue was reproduced in 4.19.2 (CL-4033788) and Main 4.21 (CL- 4233289)

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open the UE4 Editor and create a blank project
  2. Enable Actor Sequence Editor plugin and reload the project
  3. Create a new Actor Blueprint
  4. Add a Cube Static Mesh Component and nest it under DefaultSceneRoot
  5. Add an Actor Sequence Component
  6. Select the Actor Sequence Component, Click Sequence -> Open in Tab
  7. In Sequencer, use '+' Track to add the Cube Component to the timeline
  8. '+' Track in Cube and select Transform
  9. Use the "Add a new key at current time" '+' button
  10. In Components, select Cube Component and set X location of Transform to 100
  11. Use the "Add a new key at current time" + button

Results: In the [Actor] Sequencer Timeline, the location of the Cube Component is not set to the Transform of the Cube Component within the viewport, and is instead set to the default transform.

Expected: The Cube Component's transform should be added to the timeline at the current time.
