Description

The rerun construction feature works while scrubbing/playing in the sequencer and observing the results in viewport, However, when outputting the movie using Sequence Movie Output. The results of the construction script do not render properly in the output file.

 

 

Steps to Reproduce

Project has been attached for easy setup and reproduction.

  1. Download attached project file "Bp_RerunSeq"
  2. Open in Unreal Engine 4.21
  3. Confirm that the Minimal_Default level has loaded.
  4. Double click the sequence named "Test rerun" in the project's content folder.
  5. Play the video and observe how the construction script of the right chair Actor changes it's Material upon a Boolean conditional.
  6. Render the movie using render movie output.
  7. Play the movie from the path in which you saved.

 

Expected:  The movie should display the material changes driven by the construction script in the Actor's blueprint.

 

Result: The movie does not display the proper shift in material change as driven by the construction script in the Actor's blueprint.
