Media Player Texture/Material is playing on opposite mesh normal.


Confirmed on Note 4, Pixel XL and Oculus Quest


Did NOT reproduce with Vulkan.


Video Material is white on 4.22 and 4.23 iOS (iPhone 5) (Expected because of codecs)


Unable to verify on MAIN 4.24 7519848 (Crash on app launch)

Steps to Reproduce

4.22 Sample Project attached

  1. Create a new Blueprint Project - Mobile/Tablet + Scalable 3D or 2D
  2. Create 'Movies' folder in Content Browser and Place a media file in folder.
  3. Create MediaFileSource asset - Set path to video
  4. Create Media Player with Media Texture - Create material from media texture
  5. Set Media source in media player
  6. Place meshes in level and assign media player material
  7. In level blueprint: Create media player reference variable - compile - set variable - Call 'Open Source' on Media player reference with media source set.
  8. Accept android ADK License and launch on device

4.23 Result - Video texture now plays on opposite mesh normal
