With an asset that has a physical material applied and generating hit events, the Switch on EPhysicalSurface node always returns the Default Surface Physical Material.
The user on the AnswerHub post also mentioned he has tried multiple different ways to return the Physical Material on hit, but is always getting the Default Surface.
The process of setting up a project with Physical Materials can be tedious so I created my own project ready to be downloaded from the shared Google Drive link.
1. Follow the Link provided and download the test project.
2. Press Play in Editor (PIE).
3. Observe after shooting the Metal Cube the Print String returns with Default.
