Regression testing in //UE5/Release-5.0-EarlyAccess CL-16682836 since this feature wasn't in UE4. This issue did NOT happen.

This issue only seems to happen when the windows are docked to the sidebar and not when they are docked to the layout.

NOTE on logs: For comparison I uploaded two project logs. MyProject3 was the project that I imported all available packs and tried the browse in both layout docking and sidebar docking. the other project is only testing the world settings game mode while docked in sidebar.

Note on GIFs: The expected was done in Early Access so the Browse button does look a little different than what it does in Release 5.0.0. but the expected result should be the same.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open any project
  2. in content browser click the add button
  3. Click Add Feature or Content Pack
  4. Choose any of the template content packs that is not already in your project
    • easiest to use first person, third person, or top down
  5. Make sure that content browser is NOT docked to layout.

World Settings:

  1. Open World Settings Window
  2. Right click the window tab and dock to sidebar
  3. Within World settings chance game mode override to the game mode that you imported
    • if you imported third person Blueprint pack you would choose BP_ThirdpersonGameMode
  4. Once that is selected, click on the Browse to Asset button next to the drop down
    • if you don't see the button you will need to adjust the width of the field to show it on the right of the drop down.

  1. In World outliner select/highlight any item that would have a material on it. I chose a floor
  2. Right click the Details window tab and dock to the sidebar
  3. Within the docked details window find the material that is assigned to your asset (or any field that has a browse to asset button)
  4. Click on the browse to asset button

Expected Result: World Settings tab collapses back into sidebar and Content Browser Expands to show the asset that is selected in the field

Actual Result: World Settings tab either stays open, or collapses back into sidebar and content browser is not Opened automatically. However, if you manually expand the content browser, you will see that the asset location is opened and the asset is highlighted.
