Licensee reporting material slots being incorrectly assigned when loading an asset created in UE4 into UE5 via an upgraded project.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Download project from
  2. Open the project with UE4
  3. Open Tropical_Jungle_Pack/Meshes/Trees/SM_tree_medium_01
  4. Check the result of LOD3
  5. Close everything, open the project in UE5 (in a copy)
  6. Open Tropical_Jungle_Pack/Meshes/Trees/SM_tree_medium_01
  7. Check the result of LOD3
