We should at least update the comments on the CreateDefaultSubobject function warning people about the troubles and weird behavior that could occur when you call it from within a nested subobject
The CreateDefaultSubobject function doesn't have any indication or documentation warning users about calling it from within another component.
Calling from within another component is not supported and is a common point that causes users trouble.
