Description

When swapping Layer settings between various Animation Layers on a Linked Anim Layer node, the node can become stuck in one state. The node will become stuck in the Linked Anim Layer state and cannot be reverted back into a Linked Layer node via the dropdown.

This is not a consistent repro and took multiple attempts at compiling and swapping out various layer entries.

Repro Rate: 3/6

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open QAGame in the Unreal Editor
  2. Create a new AnimBP using the SK_Mannequin skeleton
  3. Create a new Animation Layer Interface
  4. Open the Interface and add a few Animation Layers to the Interface
  5. Compile the Interface
  6. Open your AnimBP and open the Class Settings
  7. Set your Inherited Interface to your newly created Interface
  8. Compile
  9. Right-click in the Content Browser and search for your Linked Anim Layer
  10. Create the node for it that appears in the prompt
  11. Compile
  12. Click your Linked Anim Layer node and begin swapping the Layer setting to other entries

Result: Linked Anim Layer node remains as a Linked Anim Layer node and cannot be changed into a Linked Layer node.

Expected: Linked Anim Layer nodes can be changed into a LinkedLayer node via the Layer dropdown.
