When launching Gear VR game on Android the first frame will render as Non-Stereo before flashing to be in stereo mode. This was not happening when tested with a 4.8 project.

Tested in MAIN on CL-2702026

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Gear VR Mobile project
2. Launch to the Android device

3. To see the issue clearly, close the initial launch and reopen the app from the device itself.

Results: The first frame will render non-stereo

Expected: The first frame should not render non-stereo. Was working correctly in 4.8
