- Create a new landscape so that it has one landscape component (for the ease of testing) and make sure to have 2x2 for the Sections per Component.
- Enable and Build Nanite for the landscape
- After you've created the landscape and can paint on it, try and paint a certain layer (Puddles layer in my case) once
- Rebuild Nanite so you can properly see the painted layer
- Try and paint that layer on each of the landscape component subsections
Depending which subsection you paint on, the painted weight map will be differently offset.
