Description

Turning on the Use Fixed Frame Rate option for a project causes time-based elements of the Editor to operate at incorrect rates.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create a new Blueprint project.
  2. Open the Project Settings window.
  3. Go to Engine -> General Settings -> Framerate
  4. Turn on Use Fixed Frame Rate.
  5. Set the Fixed Frame Rate to 10.
  6. Close the Project Settings window.
  7. Open the Editor Preferences window.
  8. Go to General -> Loading & Saving -> Auto Save
  9. Make sure AutoSave is enabled.
  10. Set the Frequency in Minutes to 1.
  11. Leave the warning set to 10 seconds.
  12. Close the Editor Preferences window.
    • An autosave may trigger immediately, ignore it.
  13. Drag a cube static mesh actor into the level.
  14. Wait for an autosave to occur.
  15. Move the cube static mesh actor in the level.
  16. Wait for an autosave to occur.

RESULT:
The frequency at which auto saves occur is approximately six times faster than expected, and the autosave warning disappears approximately six times faster than expected.

EXPECTED:
The frequency at which autosaves occur, and the rate at which the warning timer counts down, still match the times set.
