When a skeletal mesh is set to simulate physics, using the Set World Location node to set the world location of the mesh does not seem to be working. Turning simulate physics off causes the mesh to move as expected.
Found in 4.10.4 binary. Reproduced in 4.11 Preview 6 and Main CL 2884405.
1. Open the attached project
2. PIE (Notice the skeletal mesh falls to the ground, but does not change its world location).
3. Open the SkeletalMesh BP
4. Disable Simulate Physics
5. Compile
6. PIE
Result: Disabling simulate physics allows the skeletal mesh to have its world location set. When the skeletal mesh is simulating physics, the world location does not seem to be set.
Expected: The same setup would work whether or not the skeletal mesh was simulating physics.
