Description

Adding an event dispatcher to one of the pre-created character blueprints in the template projects causes an increase in compile times.

This does not occur with a blank actor or character blueprint.

This is a regression. It did not occur in 4.11.2.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open the editor (Third Person Template)
  2. Open the ThirdPersonCharacter blueprint
  3. Compile (Notice the compile time in the Compile Results tab)
  4. Add an Event Dispatcher
  5. Compile

Result: Compile time significantly increases

Expected: Compile time would remain roughly the same.
